A laundry room is designed as a dedicated space for washing, drying, ironing, and temporarily storing clothes and household textiles. Locating the laundry room within a villa annex can help separate laundry-related activities from the family’s main living areas.
A villa laundry room may include :
- a washing machine
- dryer
- sink
- worktop
- ironing area
- shelves
- and cabinets for storing detergents and clothes
Proper ventilation, efficient water drainage, and sufficient working space are important considerations when designing this area.
